US Census Bureau | Open Innovation Labs

In preparation for the 2020 Census, ACE consulted with the Accelerate team at the Census Open Innovation Labs within the U.S. Census Bureau to facilitate content development sprints, partnerships, and events. We worked strategically to match creative professionals with community-based census outreach efforts to generate innovative content (primarily memes, gifs and PSA’s) that spoke to hard-to-count communities about why their participation mattered. Those design sprints brought together creatives, technologists, civic leaders and community organizers to ensure everyone living in the US would be represented in the 2020 Census.
