Sunrise Mourning Meditation

Following the death of George Floyd, we hosted a collective grieving ceremony and guided meditation at the historically Black “Inkwell” Beach, Santa Monica in June and July of 2020.  Guests were asked to bring flowers as an offering to the ocean and photos of family members or those they’d like to remember. The event was guided by: April Banks, Arianne Edmonds and Alli Simon. Partner events took place in New York and Arizona.
